Prof. Salar A. Aziz was a Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Civil Hospital Karachi in early 1970s. He graduated from King Edward Medical College at age of 21. On his return after specializing from Ireland he worked in Hyderabad and then Karachi. In 1974 he moved back to UK and 4 years later to San Antonio, USA where he worked as a Gynecologist till he retired in 1990. He passed away in 2012. He was a extraordinarily brilliant and exemplary man with an impeccable mind and a photographic memory. He was an excellent surgeon, a beloved professor and an avid mentor who was published numerous times through the years.
