Lots of old Dowites here. Anyone remember my cousin Kazi Tanveeruddin Uzair? He was the President of DMC student union in 81-82. Then graduated from NYMC.
He was tall, well built, handsome, singer, cricketer, hockey player, boxer, chess player, politician, just to name a few. Then died at the young age of 29 due to brain tumor.
NYMC has a scholarship by his name, and this photo hangs there with the list of recipients.

Salman Naseem Adil He was senior to us in DMC and also president of students union, thorough gentleman.
Saad Bashir He was the President of the DMCSU from the Islami Jamiat e Talaba (IJT) platform – and won the presidency for Jamiat after two previous elections of NSF presidents.
Amin H. Karim: Sorry to hear that. Yes he was the President DMCSU after Drs. Naseem Shekhani (currrent President Elect APPNA) and Raheel Rasheed Khan. But after him NSF again won with Khalid Anwar.(in 1982-83) This was probably the last Union election after which Unions were banned.
