Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy Born September 8, 1892 – December 5, 1963, Beirut) was a Bengali Muslim politician who served as Prime Minister of Pakistan (1956 – 1957). He was the chief minister of undivided Bengal before partition. He was also one of the founding leaders of the East Pakistan Awami Muslim League, which later became the Awami League of modern Bangladesh.
