Late Professor Colonel Najeeb Khan was the Head of Medical Unit II Civil Hospital Karachi. He was a retired Colonel in the British India Army. One of the few teachers who actively promoted clinical research in his Department, his main field of interest being diabetes. He held Diabetes conferences in the Hospital and encouraged students and residents to present papers.
