In 2005, we embarked on a project where we wanted to compile the accurate class lists of each graduating class. This turned out to be a challenge because there was no electronic record and class registers were hand written by the clerks over the years since 1950s. We encounters, old dusty registers, broken files, and shelves sitting in Dow administration buildings.
From the Class of 1952 to class of 2009, we were able to compile lists of each graduating final year class into Excel sheets. Since it was manually entered from the hand written record there were some duplications, missing information, spelling mistakes and incorrect class assignments here and there.
We are thankful to Dr. Tipu Sultan, Dr. Masood Hameed and Dr. Afsar for providing assistance in acquiring the records. Special thanks to Dr. Amin Baig of class of 1984 who diligently supervised the project until it was completed. Also thank to the workers in the Dow admin building. The project took several weeks to complete.
In the individual class categories there will be one post containing the first name, last name alphabetically arranges by last name. With time we hope to get enough information to link the last name to persons email or Facebook if one wishes to. They will have to send us the email with the link information.
